GFM Positive Parents

Positive Parents of GEMS Founders Al Mizhar is a body of 10 parents which represents all the parents and caregivers of the children at GFM. They works in partnership with the school to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all the GFM Families. It represents the views of the parents and caregivers on the education provided by the school and other matters affecting the welfare of the students. Parents are encouraged to approach any Council members to share their comments or suggestions.

Besides these important matters, GFM Positive Parents organizes several fun-filled events throughout the year like the Winter/ Spring fair, the International Day, Diwali, Prophet’s birthday, coffee mornings for parents and many more. Some fundraising activities are also held to help the community like during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and for the Ramadan Fridge campaign. In addition, the Parent Council supports the school in various events organized by them like the Sports Day, National Day, Winter Celebrations, Book Week  and many others.
